We are absolutely over the moon with our new front door, built by the crew at Timberland Joinery. Our house faces out to sea so we experience extreme weather hitting the front of it and this door has stood firmly and solidly and been completely weatherproof. As well as looking beautiful, the finish is stunning, if it can withstand the weather we get, it can take anything! From start to finish, Kelvin and Steve gave us the most friendly and professional service and I would recommend their company with absolute confidence. We initially went to Timberland Joinery on the recommendation of friends, who had been extremely impressed with them, and we will now use them for all our joinery needs, because when you find a company who are as good as this, what’s the point of looking elsewhere?

I have recently visited my cottage which is right by the sea in Porthmellon, and been able to view firsthand the superb job Kelvin and his company have made of my windows. They look absolutley brilliant and have been installed so expertly and carefully that they look as they've been there for ever! Except that when you are inside you cannot hear the roar of the ocean waves below, or feel the draft or see the curtains moving when the wind is blowing. They are admired by many and the colour you helped me choose is so vibrant and exactly what I wanted!

As an experienced developer I have worked with many door and window suppliers. In 08/09 Timberland fitted the doors and windows to my new barn conversion near Launceston. From the first meeting the team was informative and helpful in steering me towards making the right choices for the building. I found it very useful to see samples of windows and doors that had already been made so that I could be reassured about the high quality of the finished product. The team visited site and coordinated preparation and fitting with the building team. Timberland delivered their doors and windows on time and fitted them with skill and speed. The windows and doors themselves are of a very high quality. The wood is excellent quality and fully finished (no fiddly and expensive post fitting varnish required), joints are strong, and all the door and window furniture is fitted as it is made. Throughout the process the team kept me up to date on progress. I would definitely use Timberland in a future development. They were a positive and key part of delivering a project on time and to budget and a joy to work with.

In 2015 I had all windows and doors replaced in our home by Timberland Windows. Our property is an old farmhouse and all windows are different sizes. Work included 2 large sash windows, 6 casement windows, a fully glazed door and a 'standard' door all in hardwood. The glazing units have been fine, the woodwork top-notch and the paintwork (sprayed) outstanding. More recently we've renovated a barn using windows and doors from Timberland. The doors include a 'stable' door and a heavy tilt-and-turn door that can be used as a fire escape. Similarly a long horizontal window was made with a 'flying mullion' that also complies as a fire escape. All work including fitting has been outstanding. This is quality workmanship and I would certainly recommend to anyone especially in older properties of character.

They have vastly improved the look of the house whilst significantly upgrading the insulation, draft proofing and irradiating drafts. Two of my close neighbours had windows fitted by Timberland, one having a full refit plus doors (8 years ago), the other individual widows done one or two a year over several years. They were and remain very happy with the work. In 2017 and again in 2019 I had windows designed, made and fitted by Kelvin and his team. My house is a listed Georgian farmhouse, and the work had to be heritage-compliant and in keeping with regulations and historic style. The outcome has been superb.
